今朝９時、カフェブロッサムの外気温は－３度であった。室温は６度。暖炉に火を入れ、薪を燃やし、ローストビーフを仕上げる。昼に至り、室温２７度。各方面より来店あり。暖炉の前の席のお客さんは水戸市から来たと言う。この店には、ほかの店にはない魅力が沢山あるから、毎年この時期に来ると言うのだ。有り難い限りだ！３時半の外気温は５度。自転車で帰路につく。熱線入り手袋をしていても、今日ばかりは手が寒い。
